Naciadas Para Sufrir
Con Miguel Albadalejo y Rafa en El Cuidad de la Luz, Alicante - Octubre 2008.Que bonita mi traje..no? uffff......Yo, una Monja Hindu..........deciendo (ni bailando) nada en todo la pelicula.....solo una sonrisa grande. Que ganas que he tenido a subir mi falda o hacer bhangra como una loca!!!

My outfit is lovely....right?!? Me an Indian nun, saying (nor dancing) nothing for the whole movie, just with a huge smile, I had a great desire to lift my skirt or start doing bhangra dance like a crazy person.

Samarak 08
The festival of Samarah Hayat took place last week in Sala Galileo Galilei and I was invited to perform. Its always a pleasure for me to dance in the company of fellow dancers, students and profesionals and it was the first time I met Amir Thaleb- wow. What a fantastic performer and entertainer. You cannot fault him on his technique but what he bought to the event was pure showmanship. It was a joy to watch and be part of. it was great night an I hope you all enjoyed it too.
La semana pasada actue en el Festival Samaraks 08 en Sala Galileo Galilei . Siempre es un placer para mi bailar en la compania de otros bailarines - alumnas y profesionales y tambien fue la primera vez que he visto Amir Thaleb - wow!! Un bailarin increible con un tecnico que no puede fallar. Entretenimiento total. Una noche muy buena y como yo, espero que os haya gustado tambien.
Belly Dance is so huge here in Spain and it came as a big shock to me when I arrived here 2 years ago. I guess we all want to shimmy! It seems now Bollywood is next on the list of the hot new dance style.......which of course is great for me! I can have fun, teaching, performing and smiling. What else does a girl want. I can imagine next year it will grow bigger with more people teaching this latest dance craze.
El baile de Danza del Vientre es enorme aqui en Espana y me sorprendio mucho cuando vine aqui. Claro que todo el mundo quieren shimmy...jejeje. Ahora poco a poco la moda es Bollywood......que bien para mi! Yo puedo disfrutar enseñando, actuando y sonriendo...que mas necesita una chica. Imagino que el año que viene seguira creciendo con mas gente enseñando la ultimo moda de baile.
Bollywood dance itself is such a fusion of styles that the only way to get any kind of technique is to start with the basics of Indian Classical dance (Bharantatyum/Khahak/Orissi) and then go to as many other stlyes of dance classes you can and get experience. Each Bollywood teacher has their own style, of course you can always copy from the movies which of course is fine but creating choreography is where the real fun comes in. The more dance styles you know, the easier it becomes. As long as you have your basics....then you too can be a Bollywood dance queen or king!
El baile de bollywood es realmente una fusion de muchas estilos de baile y si quieres la tecnica basica es mejor empezar con el baile classica hindu (Bharatnatyam, Khathak/Orissi) y luego ir a otras clases de baile de todos los estilos que puedas! Cada profesor/a de baile Bollywood tienen su propio estilo, claro que puede copiar los pasos de las peliculas, pero siempre es mas divertido el crear una nueva coreografia........es la verdadera diversion. Mietras mas estilos aprendas, mas facile sera.
Entonces....coges la basica...y tu tambien puedes ser una Reina/Rey de Bollywood!
